This dish has helped me stay raw time and time again. I absolutely love marinated portabella mushrooms, a little olive oil,onion powder,chili powder and Celtic sea salt goes a long way.
When buying Portabello or portabella mushrooms which are the same thing choose the ones that are firm and have a fresh earthy smell if you choose the wet slimy ones you are choosing ones that are decomposed and spoiled. When cleaning any mushroom it is best to use a damp cloth to take dirt or any particles off,this method is preferred because mushrooms are very porous and when exposed to too much water they can become soggy.
